We hear your heart’s desire to deepen your time with friends, and we lift this request before the Lord with sincerity. Fellowship with others is a gift from God, meant to encourage, sharpen, and uplift one another in faith. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 10:24-25, *"Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."* True Christian friendship is a blessing, and we pray the Lord opens doors for you to gather with those who share your faith and values.
However, we must also encourage you to examine the nature of these friendships. Are they rooted in Christ, or do they draw you away from Him? Proverbs 13:20 warns, *"He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."* If your friends are not believers or do not share a commitment to godly living, spending more time with them could lead you into compromise. We urge you to seek fellowship with those who will build you up in the Lord, not those who might pull you away from His truth.
We also pray that your time with friends would be purposeful—not just for leisure, but for mutual edification. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us, *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up."* May your friendships be marked by accountability, prayer, and a shared pursuit of holiness.
Lord, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You grant this request according to Your will. Open doors for godly fellowship, surround them with friends who love You, and guard their heart from influences that do not honor You. May their time together be filled with joy, encouragement, and a deepening of faith. If there are hindrances—busyness, distance, or ungodly relationships—we ask You to remove them and align their friendships with Your perfect plan. Strengthen their walk with You, and let their friendships reflect Your love and truth. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
