I HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR 8 YEARS. WE BOTH ARE CHRISTAINS AND WERE WHEN WE GOT MARRIED. OVER THE YEARS, WE HAVE NOT WALKED AND DRAWN CLOSE AND SEEKED GOD LIKE WE SHOULD HAVE-REBELLED A LITTLE. WE HAVE TWO WONDERFULL CHILDREN WHOM WE LOVE DEARLY. THE DEVIL HAS BEEN AND IS ATTACKING MY MARRIAGE. I REDEDICATED MY LIFE TO JESUS TOTALY IN SEPTEMBER -(2 1/2 MTHS AGO). MY WIFE IS A SUPER WOMAN WHO HAS PUT UP WITH ME BEING SELFISH, RUDE, SELFCENTERED, LAZY, ILL, AND DEMANDING OVER THE PAST 2 OR 3 YEARS AND I HAVE PUSHED HER AWAY. I LAID DOWN 2 1/2MTHS AGO AND WENT TO BED AND WOKE UP A DIFFERENT MAN, I LOVE AND ENJOY MY KIDS MORE, I LOVE AND ENJOY MY WIFE MORE, IT IS LIKE I FELL IN LOVE WITH HER ALL OVER AGAIN X'S 1000! I NOW CHERISH OUR MARRIAGE AND SET IT UP ON A PEDISTLE. I APPRECIATE MY WIFE AND ALL SHE DOES FOR ME MORE THAN EVER-EVEN THE LITTLE STUFF. I NOW REALIZE WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO TREAT YOUR WIFE LIKE CHRIST TREATED THE CHURCH - EPHESIANS 5:22-33. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PRAY IN AGGREEANCE WITH ME THAT SHE WILL RENEW HER FEELINGS AND LOVE - (1ST IN CHRIST THEN IN ME) GOD IS STILL IN THE HEALING AND MIRACLE BUSINESS AND I FULLY HAVE FAITH GOD WILL RENEW AND RESURECT OUR MARRIAGE AND OUR VOWS WE PROMISED EACH OTHER AND GOD. Thank you Lord that Mike is reaching out to you and Lord you know his heart and the fact that he wants to honor his commitment to you and his wife. You know Lord that I know very well what it is like to be a wife who hardens her heart. PLEASE Father, melt her heart as only you can. Remove the scales from her eyes that the enemy has placed there. Lord please help Mike to daily confess and repent of anything that draws him from you and his wife. Help him to see that you are perfect in wisdom, love and power and that you work everything out for your glory, whether we have to struggle through it and feel pain. Father, let Mike's children see that you have changed His heart and keep him in your word so that the enemy cannot take away his witness. Lord i pray that he would 'be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer". Lord let this family be an incredible witness of the difference you make in the lives of those who call out to you in faith and trust. And Father I pray that Mike would surround himself with Christian men who will support him and keep him accountable to his commitment and that you would bring women to his wife who will support her as well and help her know how to trust and forgive. Protect her heart Abba. And most of all Lord, help Mike to STILL praise you even if you don't answer quickly or in the manner that he wants you to, but i believe we are praying according to your will for the family Abba!
