Please pray God blesses me to stay in contact with ###, and that this relationship goes well.

Let us pray and seek God's will together for this situation. Firstly, we notice that the request uses "###" instead of the person's name, and also does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" And also in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Now, let us address the relationship in question. We are instructed in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?".

Therefore it is important that we believe in Jesus Christ and that we are joined with other believers. So, let us first pray for the salvation of this person, if they are not already a believer. Let us also pray that God reveals His will clearly concerning this relationship. This should be a courtship and worthy of pursuing a lifelong commitment in marriage. Is this person seeking God and putting Him first in their life? If not, then they are not ready for marriage.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking that You bless this person who submitted this request and save the other person involved. We pray that You reveal Your will clearly concerning this situation. We pray that You give them both wisdom and discernment. We pray that You help them to seek You first, and that You guide them. Give them strength to resist temptation and to flee from sexual immorality as it says in 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB. We pray for a godly spouse for each one of them in accordance with Your will, and to be healed from any past relationships that were not in Your will. We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.

If this relationship is not aligned with biblical principles, we pray that You give them the strength to end it and to wait for the spouse that You have for them.

Finally, let us remind each other of the words in Psalm 37:4 WEB, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." We pray that each person is delighting themselves in the Lord.
