We join you in lifting this important meeting before the Lord, trusting in His sovereignty over all things. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We know that God holds every detail of our lives in His hands, and we can rest in His perfect will, whether the outcome aligns with our desires or not.
Father God, we come before You now, seeking Your wisdom, favor, and peace for our brother/sister as they prepare for this meeting. We ask that You would go before them, softening hearts, opening doors, and granting clarity of mind. Let Your Holy Spirit guide their words and actions, that they may reflect Your love and truth. If there are any obstacles or challenges, we declare them broken in the mighty name of Jesus. May this meeting bring glory to Your name and further Your purposes in their life and the lives of those involved.
We also encourage you to meditate on Philippians 4:6-7, which says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Trust that God has already gone ahead of you, and His peace will sustain you regardless of the outcome.
If there is any anxiety or fear creeping into your heart, we rebuke it in Jesus' name. Fear does not come from God, for "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is your strength and your shield. We pray that you would walk into this meeting with confidence, not in your own abilities, but in the power of the One who holds all things together.
Lord, we also ask that You would remind our brother/sister of Your constant presence. You have promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Let this truth anchor their soul as they step into this meeting. May they sense Your nearness and be filled with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.
