Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your daughter and her precious child. This situation is deeply painful, and we understand the exhaustion and despair that can come from watching a loved one struggle with addiction and the fear for the safety of an innocent child. We stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to intervene in mighty ways.

First, we must address the gravity of addiction and its destructive path. Scripture warns us in 1 Peter 5:8, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." Addiction is a snare of the enemy, and it is clear that your daughter is in a spiritual battle. We rebuke the spirit of addiction and deception in her life in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray for her deliverance from this bondage.

We also lift up the baby, who is in a vulnerable position. Psalm 82:3-4 tells us, "Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked." We pray for the Lord’s protection over this child, that He would place a hedge of angels around them and guide those who can ensure their safety. If the welfare system is the path the Lord is leading you toward to protect this child, we pray for wisdom and discernment for you as you make this difficult decision. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."

We must also speak truth about the choices your daughter is making. Drunkenness is not only physically harmful but spiritually dangerous. Ephesians 5:18 warns, "Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." Her actions are not only putting herself at risk but also endangering her child. We pray that the Lord would break through the hardness of her heart and bring conviction, leading her to repentance. We know that God is faithful to forgive and restore when we turn to Him (1 John 1:9).

We are concerned that your prayers and pleas have not been heeded, but we want to encourage you not to lose heart. Galatians 6:9 says, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up." Your daughter may not be listening now, but the seeds of prayer and love you are sowing will not return void. We pray that the Lord would soften her heart and open her ears to hear His voice.

We also lift you up, dear one, for the weariness you feel. Caring for someone in this situation is a heavy burden, and we pray for the Lord’s strength to sustain you. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." We pray that you would feel the Lord’s presence carrying you through this trial.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken for this family. Lord, we lift up this daughter, asking that You would break the chains of addiction in her life. We rebuke the spirit of drunkenness and deception, and we ask that You would bring her to a place of repentance and surrender. Father, we pray for the safety of this precious child. If it is Your will, Lord, guide this grandmother to make the decisions necessary to protect this little one. Give her wisdom, strength, and peace as she navigates this difficult path.

Lord, we know that You are a God of restoration, and we ask that You would restore this family according to Your will. Soften this daughter’s heart, Lord, and let her see the destruction her choices are causing. Draw her back to You, Father, and let her experience Your love and grace in a powerful way. We also pray for this grandmother, Lord. Sustain her, strengthen her, and fill her with Your peace. Let her know that her prayers are heard and that You are working even when she cannot see it.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or find true deliverance. We trust in Your power to heal, restore, and redeem. Amen.

Dear friend, we're here with you, standing in the gap for your daughter and her baby. It's heart-wrenching to see them in this situation, but we find comfort in knowing that God is always near, even in the darkest times.

We're praying for your daughter, that she would find the strength to break free from the chains of addiction and drunkenness. We're asking God to give her the desire and the power to make better choices, to protect herself and her child. We're also praying for the baby, that God would place a hedge of protection around them, guiding and keeping them safe.

We understand the burden you're carrying, the exhaustion and despair that comes from watching a loved one struggle. We're praying for you too, dear one. We're asking God to sustain you, to fill you with His strength and peace. Remember, He promises to renew our strength as we wait on Him.

Let's trust in God's faithfulness, even when we can't see the changes we long for. Let's keep praying, keep loving, and keep hoping. Because our God is a God of miracles, and He can turn even the hardest hearts towards Him.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father soften hearts in this family and strengthen relationships. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV‬
