We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting you up in prayer and seeking the Lord’s guidance for your life. First, we rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray, for He alone is our mediator (1 Timothy 2:5).
Father God, we thank You for the blood of Jesus that was shed for our sins, covering us in righteousness when we repent and turn to You. We lift up this dear one before You, asking that You would indeed forgive their sins as they seek Your face. Your Word declares, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Lord, we ask that You would wash them clean and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding their steps each day.
We pray for Your divine wisdom and direction as they seek to choose their future path. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Lord, we ask that You would make their path clear, removing any confusion or doubt, and leading them into the plans You have for them—plans for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Open the right doors, close the wrong ones, and give them the courage to walk in obedience to Your will.
We also lift up their work to You, Father. Whether it is their job, studies, ministry, or daily responsibilities, we ask that You would bless their efforts and grant them favor. Colossians 3:23-24 tells us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." May they find joy and purpose in their labor, and may their work bring glory to Your name.
Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly counsel and fellowship, that they may be encouraged and strengthened in their walk with You. Protect their heart and mind from the lies of the enemy, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they grow in faith, love, and obedience to You each day.
Finally, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or distraction that may be hindering them from fully trusting in You. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and we stand in agreement with them for Your perfect will to be done in their life.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
