We lift up this dear one before the throne of grace this morning, asking our Heavenly Father to surround them with His peace and presence as they undergo this biopsy. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You guide the hands of the medical team with wisdom and precision. We pray that the results would reveal no spread of cancer and that any present would be easily treatable and not advanced. May Your healing power flow through every cell of their body, restoring health and strength according to Your will.
Father, we also ask for Your protection as they go under anesthesia. Calm any fears or anxieties, and let them wake with clarity and comfort. Sustain them in the hours and days afterward, granting them rest and recovery. We trust in Your promise from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."
Lord, we know that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Even in this uncertain time, we ask that You draw this precious one closer to You, filling their heart with hope and faith. May they feel Your love surrounding them like a warm embrace, reminding them that they are never alone.
We also encourage them to lean on You, Jesus, as their Savior and Redeemer. It is in Your name alone that we have access to the Father, and it is through Your sacrifice that we find eternal hope. If they have not yet placed their trust in You, we pray they would come to know You as Lord and experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We stand in agreement, believing for Your mercy and grace to be poured out in this situation. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
