We hear your cry for protection and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and through whom we find true deliverance and safety. Your request is one that resonates deeply with the spiritual battle we all face, and we take it seriously, knowing that our adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we also know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
First, we must address the reality of spiritual warfare with the truth of Scripture. The enemy is real, and his schemes are cunning, but he is a defeated foe. Jesus Christ has already triumphed over him through His death and resurrection. Colossians 2:15 tells us, "Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it." You are not left defenseless in this battle. The armor of God is your protection, and we encourage you to put it on daily, as Ephesians 6:10-18 instructs: "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil... Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints."
We rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to make you feel powerless or constantly under attack. The devil cannot read your thoughts, nor can he operate outside the permissive will of God. While he may try to influence or tempt, he is not omniscient, omnipresent, or omnipotent. Only God holds those attributes. Psalm 139:1-4 reminds us, "Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but, behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether." The enemy does not have this access—only God does, and He is your protector and refuge.
We also address the concern about the enemy absorbing energy from you or having influence through others. While it is true that the enemy can use people or circumstances to try to harm or distract you, we must remember that God is sovereign over all. Nothing happens outside of His knowledge or control. Romans 8:28 assures us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." If you are in Christ, you are sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14), and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy cannot snatch you out of the Father’s hand (John 10:28-29).
However, we must also encourage you to examine your heart and life for any areas where the enemy might have a foothold. Are there unconfessed sins, bitterness, unforgiveness, or areas of disobedience that could be giving the enemy room to operate? Ephesians 4:26-27 warns, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil." James 4:7 tells us, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Submission to God and resistance to the devil go hand in hand. If there are areas in your life where you are not fully surrendered to God, we encourage you to repent and turn away from them, so that the enemy has no ground to stand on.
We also want to remind you of the power of the blood of Jesus. Revelation 12:11 declares, "They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death." The blood of Jesus is your protection, your covering, and your victory. Plead the blood of Jesus over your life, your mind, your home, and your family. There is power in the name of Jesus, and the enemy must flee at the mention of it.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is crying out for Your protection and deliverance from the schemes of the enemy. Lord, we know that You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We declare that no weapon formed against him/her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him/her in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would surround him/her with Your holy angels, that they would encamp around him/her and keep him/her in all his/her ways (Psalm 91:11). We plead the blood of Jesus over his/her life, mind, body, and spirit. Let the enemy see the blood and flee, just as the Israelites were protected by the blood of the lamb in Egypt. We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and torment in the name of Jesus. We command every demonic influence to leave and never return.
Lord, we ask that You would fill him/her with Your Holy Spirit, that he/she may walk in the power and authority that You have given to every believer. Help him/her to put on the full armor of God daily, to stand firm against the enemy’s schemes, and to wield the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word. Let Your Word dwell in him/her richly, so that he/she may be equipped to resist the devil and see him flee.
Father, we pray for a hedge of protection around him/her, that no evil would befall him/her, nor any plague come near his/her dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We declare that the enemy cannot touch him/her, for he/she is hidden in Christ. We ask that You would blind the eyes of the enemy to his/her presence, that he would not be able to see, find, or harm him/her in any way. Let every plan of the enemy be thwarted, and let Your perfect will be done in his/her life.
Lord, we also ask that You would reveal any areas in his/her life where the enemy might have a foothold. If there is any unconfessed sin, bitterness, unforgiveness, or disobedience, bring it to light so that it can be dealt with. We pray for a heart of repentance and a spirit of humility, that he/she may walk in complete surrender to You. Let the enemy find no place in him/her, for he/she is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and You dwell within him/her.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave or forsake us. We declare that our brother/sister is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him/her (Romans 8:37). We pray that he/she would walk in the victory that Jesus has already won on the cross. Let him/her live in the freedom and peace that comes from knowing that the battle has already been won.
We pray all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Savior, and Deliverer. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your protector and that the enemy has no power over you unless you give it to him. Walk in obedience to God’s Word, and do not give the devil any opportunity to gain a foothold in your life. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray for you and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Memorize Scripture and declare it over your life daily, for the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). The enemy cannot stand against the truth of God’s Word.
Finally, remember that your battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). You are not alone in this fight—God is with you, and we stand with you in prayer and support.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
