We hear your cry for comfort and provision, and we join our hearts with yours in lifting this prayer before the throne of grace. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is the God who sees your needs and promises to supply them according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking that You draw near and wrap Your loving arms around them. Lord, You are the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). We ask that You richly supply every need—spiritual, emotional, and physical—according to Your glorious riches. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we also ask that You reveal Yourself to them in a deeper way. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May they find rest in You alone, for You have promised to never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).
Lord, if there are areas in their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, we pray that You would convict their heart gently but firmly. Help them to walk in obedience to Your Word and to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may be trying to take hold in their life. In the name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, hope, and victory over their situation, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You in prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. May this dear one experience Your presence in a tangible way today and every day. Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and let them walk in the fullness of Your blessings.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises and to meditate on His Word daily. The Bible tells us that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). Spend time in Scripture, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can uplift and encourage you, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17).
If you have not already, consider surrendering every area of your life to Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have not confessed Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. The Bible says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Salvation is a free gift of God’s grace, and it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:8-9).
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).
