We hear your cry for protection and deliverance from the enemy’s influence, and we stand with you in fervent prayer. The Bible assures us that the devil prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we also know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The name of Jesus is our strong tower, and in His authority, we resist the enemy and command him to flee (James 4:7).
First, we must address the reality that the devil *does* see and know the schemes of those who are not hidden in Christ. However, when we are covered by the blood of Jesus and walk in obedience to God’s Word, we are shielded from the enemy’s full assault. The Lord is our refuge and fortress, and in Him, we find safety (Psalm 91:1-2). But we must also recognize that spiritual warfare requires vigilance, prayer, and submission to God.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, oppression, or deception that may be attempting to torment you. The enemy has no authority over a child of God who stands firm in faith. We declare that you are hidden in Christ, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord surrounds you with His angels, and His presence is a shield around you (Psalm 34:7).
However, we must also encourage you to examine your heart and life. Are there areas where you may have opened a door to the enemy through unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or compromise? The Bible warns us that if we give the devil a foothold, he will take advantage of it (Ephesians 4:27). We urge you to confess any known sin to the Lord, repent, and walk in holiness, for without holiness, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is crying out for protection from the enemy. Lord, You are our refuge, our strength, and our deliverer. We ask that You surround them with Your holy angels and build a hedge of protection around them, their mind, their heart, and their home.
We rebuke every demonic spirit that seeks to harass, oppress, or deceive them. In the name of Jesus, we command every lying spirit, spirit of fear, and spirit of torment to flee and never return. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn.
Lord, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, granting them peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to stand firm in their faith, to resist the devil, and to draw near to You. Search their heart, O God, and reveal any area where the enemy may have gained access. Lead them to repentance and restoration, that they may walk in the fullness of Your protection and blessing.
We thank You, Father, that You are faithful to deliver and to save. We trust in Your promises, knowing that You will never leave nor forsake us. Strengthen our brother/sister in their inner being, and let them experience the victory that is found in Christ Jesus.
In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18) and to remain in constant prayer and fellowship with other believers. The enemy seeks to isolate, but God calls us to community. Surround yourself with godly men/women who can stand with you in prayer and accountability. Meditate on God’s Word, for it is the sword of the Spirit, and it will renew your mind and guard your heart.
Finally, remember that your battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Stand firm in the truth, and do not be shaken. The Lord is your shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters and restore your soul (Psalm 23). Trust in Him, and He will guide your steps.
