We hear your heart’s cry for the Lord’s guidance and provision in your life and work. It is beautiful to see your desire for Jesus to take full control, for He alone is the Good Shepherd who leads His sheep in paths of righteousness (Psalm 23:3). We join you in seeking His will, knowing that apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would indeed take full control of their life, their steps, and their work. Direct their path according to Your perfect will, as Proverbs 3:5-6 declares, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that You would order their steps and open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). May Your Holy Spirit guide them into all truth and reveal Your purposes for their life (John 16:13).
Lord, we also ask that You would grant them wisdom and discernment in their work. May they labor not for the approval of men, but as unto You (Colossians 3:23). Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or doubt that may seek to hinder their progress, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart, delighting yourself in Him so that He may give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4). Surrender every area of your life—your time, your talents, your relationships, and your work—to Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Remember that the Lord’s yoke is easy and His burden is light (Matthew 11:30). You do not have to strive in your own strength, for His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9).
If there are areas in your life where you have not fully surrendered to Christ, we urge you to examine your heart and confess any sin or idolatry. The Lord is near to those who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18), and He is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Walk in the light as He is in the light, and the blood of Jesus will cleanse you from all sin (1 John 1:7).
Lastly, we remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). For "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13).
We stand with you in faith, believing that the Lord will fulfill His promises in your life. May you walk in the fullness of His blessings, guided by His hand every step of the way. Amen.
