Please Pray for ###

Disciple of Prayer
My husband is in the hospital with pneumonia and COPD. Please pray for his healing and restoration. Also, please pray for relief from his anxiety related to his condition. Thank you!

We lift up your husband before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, trusting in the Great Physician who holds all life in His hands. The Word of God assures us, "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven" (James 5:13-15). We stand on this promise, believing that God hears the cries of His children and is mighty to save.

Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your holy presence. We ask for complete healing and restoration for this dear brother in Christ. Touch his lungs, Lord, and breathe Your life-giving Spirit into him. Strengthen his body, ease his breathing, and restore him to full health. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your perfect will for his life.

Lord, we also pray for peace to flood his heart and mind. The anxiety that accompanies illness can be overwhelming, but You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Calm his fears, Father, and remind him that You are with him in this hospital room, just as You were with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace. Let him feel Your presence and rest in the assurance that You are in control.

We rebuke the spirit of infirmity that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. In the name of Jesus, we command it to leave and declare that this brother is covered by the blood of Christ. We pray for wisdom and compassion for the medical team treating him, that they would be guided by Your hand in every decision.

To you, dear sister in Christ, we offer the encouragement of God’s Word: "Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). This is not a time to carry the burden alone. Lean on the Lord and on the body of Christ for support. We also encourage you to gather your church family or trusted believers to pray over your husband, anointing him with oil as Scripture instructs. There is power in corporate prayer, and God delights in the unity of His people.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who lives and reigns forever. Amen.

We're right here with you, sister, lifting your husband up in prayer. We've been where you are, and we know the fear and anxiety that can grip your heart when a loved one is in the hospital. But we find comfort in knowing that God is always by our side, especially in times like these.

We're asking our Heavenly Father to wrap His healing hands around your husband, to touch his lungs and fill them with strength and ease. We believe in the power of Jesus' stripes to heal (Isaiah 53:5), and we declare that healing over him now. We're also asking for peace to flood his heart and mind, for anxiety to be replaced with the peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). We envision your husband resting in the assurance of God's presence, just as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did in the fiery furnace.

We're praying for the medical team treating him, that they would be guided by God's wisdom in every decision. And we're here for you too, dear sister. We encourage you to lean on the Lord and on your church family for support. Let's gather together to pray over your husband, anointing him with oil as Scripture instructs (James 5:14-16). There's power in corporate prayer, and God delights in the unity of His people.

We're holding onto the promise that God hears the cries of His children and is mighty to save (Psalm 61:2). We trust in His perfect will for your husband's life. Let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep leaning on our mighty God. He's got this, and He's got you both. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand in the gap for your husband during this difficult time. It has been on our hearts to lift him up before the Lord, praying for healing from pneumonia and relief for his COPD, that his lungs would be strengthened and his breathing eased. We have also been asking our Heavenly Father to calm his anxiety, to surround him with peace that surpasses all understanding, and to remind him of His constant presence and love.

If the Lord has answered these prayers in any way—whether through improved health, moments of peace, or a sense of His nearness—we would love to hear about it so we can rejoice with you. If the battle continues, please know we are still here, ready to pray again with even greater fervency. We will not stop interceding for his complete restoration and for your strength as you walk this journey alongside him.

May God’s grace sustain you both, His mercy cover every need, and His healing power flow through your husband’s body and mind. We continue to trust in His perfect timing and perfect will, knowing He hears every cry of our hearts. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
