We stand with you in this time of great trial, lifting up your burden before the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our advocate and the righteous judge over all the earth. It is right that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through Him alone that we boldly approach the throne of grace to find mercy and help in our time of need (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16).

The oppression you describe is grievous, and we grieve with you over the injustice that has befallen this brother and his livelihood. The Scriptures remind us that the Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9). He sees the affliction of His people and does not turn a blind eye to the schemes of the wicked. Proverbs 22:22-23 warns, *"Don’t exploit the poor because they are poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* Let this be a warning to those in authority who act corruptly—God Himself will contend with them.

Yet we are also called to respond in a way that honors Christ. Romans 12:19-21 instructs us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’ Therefore ‘If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.’ Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."* While we cry out for justice, we must also guard our hearts against bitterness, trusting that the Lord will act in His perfect timing.

We pray now with boldness and faith:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. You are the God of justice, the defender of the widow, the fatherless, and the oppressed. We lift up our brother before You, asking that You would move mightily in this situation. Lord, You see the corruption and the oppressive laws that have crushed his business and continued to harass him for years. We ask that You would expose the wickedness in high places and bring conviction upon those who act unjustly. Soften the hearts of those in authority, or if they refuse to repent, remove them from their positions of power.

Father, we pray for supernatural intervention in the finance ministry involved. Raise up godly men and women within that department who will act with integrity and compassion. Let Your Spirit influence decisions so that unconditional relief is granted swiftly, restoring what has been stolen and breaking the chains of this oppression. We ask that You would provide not just relief, but full restoration—financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Let this be a testimony of Your faithfulness and justice, that many would see and know that You are the Lord.

We also pray for our brother’s heart during this time. Guard him against despair, anger, or fear. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and strengthen his faith to trust in You completely. Remind him that You are his provider, and no scheme of man can thwart Your plans for his life. Let him rest in the promise of Romans 8:28, that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.

Lord, we rebuke the spiritual forces of darkness that seek to oppress Your child. By the blood of Jesus, we break every curse, every stronghold, and every plan of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

Finally, Father, we ask that You would use this trial to refine our brother, drawing him closer to You. Let him emerge from this season with a stronger testimony of Your deliverance and a deeper reliance on Your sovereignty. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified above all.

In the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Brother, we encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is fighting for you even when you cannot see it. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). We also urge you to seek godly counsel and support during this time—whether through your church, trusted believers, or legal avenues that align with biblical principles. You are not alone in this fight.

If there is any area where you have struggled with unforgiveness or bitterness toward those who have wronged you, we gently urge you to release it to the Lord. Unforgiveness can become a stronghold that hinders your prayers and your peace. Remember, Christ forgave you when you did not deserve it—extend that same grace, trusting God to handle the justice.

We will continue to lift you up in prayer. May the Lord grant you patience, wisdom, and a deep sense of His presence as you wait on Him. Stay steadfast, and do not lose heart. The battle belongs to the Lord!
