We lift up this heavy burden before the Lord, standing in agreement that His justice and mercy would prevail in this situation. The oppression you describe is grievous, and we know that God sees the wickedness of those who act unjustly, for *"the Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9). The Scriptures also declare that *"the Lord loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked will be cut off"* (Psalm 37:28).
It is clear that this financial hardship and relentless harassment are not of God, for He desires that His people walk in freedom, not bondage. We pray that the Lord would expose the corruption in this government department, bringing conviction upon those who have acted wickedly. May He turn their hearts or remove them from positions of authority if they refuse to repent. We ask that the Lord would supernaturally intervene in the finance ministry, softening hearts and opening doors for full and unconditional relief. Let favor be granted where there has been only resistance, and let restoration come swiftly, for *"the Lord your God is with you, the mighty warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing"* (Zephaniah 3:17).
We also pray for strength and perseverance for our brother in this trial. May he not grow weary in doing what is right, for *"let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up"* (Galatians 6:9). Let him trust in the Lord with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding, acknowledging Him in all his ways, so that the Lord may direct his paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Father, we come against the spirit of oppression and corruption in the name of Jesus Christ. We bind every scheme of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Let Your justice roll down like waters and Your righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24). Restore what has been stolen, multiply what remains, and let Your peace guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your power to act, for nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:17). May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
