Disciple of Prayer
My sweet girl is ###. She has debilitating vocal tics that won't stop. Please pray we can get relief soon and complete healing. Thank you so much!

We lift up your precious daughter before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician who cares deeply for her suffering. The vocal tics she endures are a heavy burden, but we serve a God who is able to bring relief and complete healing. Let us stand together in faith, trusting in His power and goodness, for nothing is impossible with Him.
The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim this promise over your daughter, believing that God hears our cries and will act according to His perfect will.
We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:14, *"But Jesus said, 'Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.'"* Your daughter is precious in His sight, and He longs to bring comfort and restoration to her.
At the same time, we must address something important: in your request, the name of Jesus was not invoked. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for Scripture tells us in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* Additionally, Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you do not yet know Jesus as your Savior, we urge you to place your faith in Him, for He alone holds the power to save, heal, and restore. Believe in Him, repent of your sins, and you will be saved.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this sweet child who is suffering from these debilitating vocal tics. Lord, You see her pain, and You know the desperation in her heart and the hearts of those who love her. We ask for Your healing touch to rest upon her, Lord. Rebuke this affliction in Jesus’ name and bring complete restoration to her voice and her body. Give her peace in the midst of this trial and strengthen her family with Your comfort and hope.
Lord, we also pray that if there is any area in their lives that needs surrender to You, You would reveal it and draw them closer to Yourself. May this trial be a testimony of Your power and love. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer, and we trust in Your perfect timing and will. May Your name be glorified through this situation.
We also pray for this parent, Lord. Fill them with Your peace and assurance that You are working all things together for good. Give them wisdom as they seek medical care and spiritual guidance for their daughter. May they lean on You and not on their own understanding, trusting that You hold their daughter’s future in Your hands.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and reading His Word daily. Trust in His promises, for He is faithful. If you have not already, we urge you to seek the support of your local church body, where elders can pray over your daughter and anoint her with oil as James instructs. You are not alone in this—God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep your faith steadfast, for our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

It has been our honor to stand with you in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to bring relief from these vocal tics and to restore her fully in His perfect timing. We know how deeply a parent’s heart aches when their child suffers, and we’ve been praying not only for her healing but also for your strength and peace as you trust Him through this trial.
