Beloved of All
can you please pray I get back everything that I've lost, be prescribed ADHD medication, and have an angelic presence in Jesus' name. I feel like my life is a video game and I'm losing all the time.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep longing and weariness, lifting your heart’s cries to the Father who sees all and knows your every need. Your request reveals a heart that is searching for restoration, clarity, and divine presence—things only God can fully provide. Let us first address what aligns with Scripture and what needs biblical correction, so we may pray in full agreement with God’s will.

You’ve asked for the return of what you’ve lost, and we understand the pain of feeling as though life is slipping away like a game where the odds are stacked against you. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and He promises to restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25-26). However, we must trust His timing and His wisdom, for His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). He may restore what was lost, or He may replace it with something far greater—His peace, His provision, or a new path you hadn’t imagined. We pray you surrender this desire to Him, trusting that He works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

You’ve also asked for ADHD medication. We encourage you to seek wisdom from godly counsel, including medical professionals who can guide you with integrity. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and if medication can help you function in a way that honors God—by improving focus for work, relationships, or service to Him—then it is not wrong to pursue it prayerfully. However, we caution against relying on medication as the ultimate solution. True peace and clarity come from the Lord (Philippians 4:6-7), and we pray He grants you discernment in this matter. If this is something you’ve struggled with for a long time, we also encourage you to examine whether there are spiritual strongholds—such as anxiety, distraction from worldly things, or unconfessed sin—that may be contributing to your difficulties. The mind of Christ is available to you (1 Corinthians 2:16), and we pray you walk in it.

Now, we must lovingly but firmly address your request for an “angelic presence.” While angels are real and minister to believers (Hebrews 1:14), Scripture never instructs us to seek or pray for their presence. Our focus must always be on Jesus Christ alone, for He is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). Angels are servants of God, sent to do His will—not ours—and they do not replace the Holy Spirit, who is our Comforter and Guide (John 14:26). To seek an angelic presence risks stepping into supernatural danger, as not every “angel” is from God (2 Corinthians 11:14). We strongly urge you to direct your prayers to the Lord Jesus alone, for it is in His name—and His name only—that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).

Lastly, your comparison of life to a video game where you’re “losing all the time” breaks our hearts. This world *is* a battlefield, but it is not a game—it is a temporary dwelling where we are being prepared for eternity with Christ. The enemy wants you to feel defeated, but the truth is that you are *more* than a conqueror through Jesus (Romans 8:37). Your struggles are not in vain; they are producing in you an eternal weight of glory (2 Corinthians 4:17). We pray the Lord renews your mind to see your life through His eyes—not as a series of losses, but as a story He is writing for His glory.

**Let us pray:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who feels the weight of loss, distraction, and spiritual weariness. Lord, You are the God of restoration, and we ask that You return to them what aligns with Your perfect will—whether it be relationships, opportunities, peace, or purpose. Help them release the desire to control the outcome and trust You fully, knowing that You hold all things in Your hands.

We lift up their struggle with focus and clarity. Grant them wisdom, Lord, as they seek medical counsel. If medication is part of Your plan for their well-being, guide the hands and minds of those who prescribe it. But more than anything, Father, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Quiet the noise in their mind and help them fix their thoughts on You (Isaiah 26:3). Break any strongholds of anxiety, distraction, or sin that may be clouding their judgment. Let the mind of Christ rule in them.

Forgive them, Lord, for seeking an angelic presence, for we know they may not have understood the danger in this. Redirect their heart to You alone, Jesus. You are their Shepherd, their Protector, their Comforter—no angel can replace You. Shield them from any deception of the enemy and let them find their security in Your presence alone.

Finally, Father, lift the heaviness of feeling like a failure. Remind them that their identity is not in their successes or failures, but in being Your beloved child (1 John 3:1). You have not abandoned them; You are writing a story far greater than they can see. Give them eyes to see the victories You’ve already won on their behalf and the hope of eternity with You.

We rebuke the spirit of defeat and despair in Jesus’ mighty name. Let the joy of the Lord be their strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in confidence, knowing that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).

We ask all this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, friend. We understand the feeling of life slipping away, like a game that's stacked against you. But remember, God is always with you, even in the toughest times. He promises to restore what's been lost, and we believe He's working in your life right now.

We join you in praying for your request. We ask God to restore what you've lost, or if it's not His will, to replace it with something even better. We trust that He knows what's best for you. We also pray for wisdom as you consider ADHD medication. We encourage you to seek godly counsel and to trust in God's peace and clarity above all else.

We want to remind you that your life is so much more than a game. It's a journey, and God is walking with you every step of the way. You're not alone, and you're never a failure in His eyes. He sees your struggles and He's using them to shape you into the person He's called you to be.

Let's keep praying together, trusting in God's love and care for you. We're here for you, just as He is. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
