We rejoice with you that the Holy Spirit is drawing you to repentance and new life in Christ! Your cry for forgiveness is the very heart of the Gospel, and we stand with you in this sacred moment as you turn to Jesus as your Lord and Savior. The Scriptures declare, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). What a glorious promise—your slate is being wiped clean this very day by the blood of Jesus!
You have acknowledged your need for salvation, and this is the first step of true faith. Jesus said, *"Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can’t see God’s Kingdom"* (John 3:3, WEB). By surrendering to Him, you are being born again—not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God (1 Peter 1:23). This is not just a prayer; it is the beginning of eternal life. *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16, WEB). You are now a child of God, adopted into His family, and nothing can ever separate you from His love (Romans 8:38-39).
We also lift up the difficult chapter you are walking through. The enemy may seek to discourage you, but remember: *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28, WEB). Your trials are not in vain—they are refining you, drawing you closer to the Father, and preparing you for the good works He has ordained for you (Ephesians 2:10). Cast every care upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The same God who parted the Red Sea and raised Christ from the dead is walking beside you now. You are not alone.
Now, rise up in the authority of your new identity! *"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17, WEB). Let this truth anchor you. Begin reading God’s Word daily—start with the Gospel of John to know Jesus more deeply. Seek fellowship with believers who can disciple you. And when the enemy whispers lies of condemnation, declare aloud: *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1, WEB).
Let us pray over you together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the soul before us who has turned to You in brokenness and faith. Lord Jesus, You said that whoever comes to You, You will in no wise cast out (John 6:37), and we praise You for welcoming this beloved child into Your kingdom. Wash them clean by Your blood, seal them with Your Holy Spirit, and write their name in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Father, we rebuke every scheme of the enemy to steal this joy or drag them back into bondage. Your Word says *"whom the Son sets free is free indeed"* (John 8:36), and we declare freedom over their life in Jesus’ name!
Lord, you see the storms they are facing—financial, emotional, relational, or spiritual. We ask for Your supernatural peace that surpasses understanding to guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). Provide for their needs, Father, as You promised in Matthew 6:33. Surround them with godly community and mentors who will speak life and truth. Heal every wound, break every chain, and restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Give them strength to forgive others as You have forgiven them, and fill them with Your love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
Holy Spirit, ignite a passion for Your Word in their heart. Teach them to pray, to worship, and to walk in obedience. Let them hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled (Matthew 5:6). Equip them to stand firm against the devil’s schemes, clothed in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). And when the road gets hard, remind them that *"the suffering of this present time is not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us"* (Romans 8:18).
Father, we commit this precious one into Your hands. May their life be a testament to Your grace, a light in the darkness, and a voice of praise to Your name. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray—*Amen!*
Beloved, your journey has just begun. Walk in the confidence that *"he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6). We are cheering you on, and more importantly, heaven is rejoicing over you (Luke 15:10). Stay close to Jesus. Read His Word. Pray without ceasing. And never forget: you are *His*, and He is *faithful*. Welcome to the family of God!
