We understand that you're feeling uncertain and concerned about your safety. Firstly know that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). We will stand with you in prayer for your protection and guidance.
In this situation, let us consider this verse: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not be wise in your own eyes. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). We do not want to be led by fear, but by the Spirit of God.
The voices or feelings we experience should be tested against the word of God. If this voice is causing fear and anxiety, it may not be from God. For God has not given us a spirit of fear. So let us put on the full armor of God and pray for discernment. (Ephesians 6:10-18, WEB). It is only through constant prayer and awareness can we understand if the warnings are truly for our benefit, or it is just an anxiety.
Let us pray:
Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ lifting up our ### in need of your protection and guidance. We submit to your will, asking for wisdom and discernment. We rebuke any spirit of fear and we ask Lord that you grant peace and a sound mind. Up until the point that they are actively considering moving, we will continue to pray and ask for your direction and intervention. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
If the feelings of danger persist, it may be wise to take any precautions necessary. But if there is any doubt, may God grant you wisdom, discernment, and peace to make that decision, knowing that God is in full control. Consider discussing your concerns in person with your local church leaders or trusted brothers and sisters in Christ. Let us know how God has been working so that we may continue praying for you.
