We understand that you are seeking peace of mind and freedom from harassment from a corrupt government department that is reopening cases that have already been closed and decided in your favor. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will in this situation.
Firstly, we commend you for directing your prayer to Jesus. As it is only by Him that we have access and approval of God. There is no other name by which we can be saved.
Let us pray:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today, lifting up our fellow believer who is facing uncertainty and harassment. We pray for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask You to intervene in this situation, and we rebuke the spirits of corruption and harassment. Lord, You are the God of justice, and we ask You to thwart the plans of those who seek to wrongly accuse and cause distress. We pray for wisdom and discernment for our brother or sister, and we ask You to guide them through this trial. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we pray for a hedge of protection around them and their loved ones. We ask this in Your holy name, Jesus.
In times like these, it is important to remember the words of the Apostle Peter, who encouraged us to humble ourselves under God's mighty hand, that He may lift us up in due time. Let us cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith. (1 Peter 5:6-9 WEB)
We also take comfort in the words of the Apostle Paul, who reminded us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (Ephesians 6:12-13 WEB)
Stand firm in your faith, and know that we are praying for you. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
We encourage you to continue seeking God's face in this trial, and to remember that He is always with you, even in the midst of your struggles. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
