Let's come together and lift up this precious child to the Lord.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only in Jesus Christ that believers have access to God and can receive the forgiveness of sins. In the book of Acts 4:12, WEB says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" It is faith in the name of Jesus that can save a person. If you have not believed in Jesus, we encourage you to trust in Him. It is by the name of Jesus that we come to God in prayer.
We are so sorry to hear about this injury. This child and their family need our prayers.
We should pray for the child. In James 5:15 we read: "The prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." This prayer is not a magic formula, but a prayer from a righteous person who believes in God.
"Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come to you on behalf of this child. We pray for Your healing touch upon their body. Comfort them in their pain and help them to feel Your presence. Give the doctors wisdom and guide them in treating the injuries. We pray for a quick and full recovery, so that the child may return to their daily activities, giving thanks to You. Lord, in Jesus' name, we believe that You can make a way where there seems to be no way. We trust in Your power to heal and restore.
We also lift up the family of this child. Lord, give them strength and faith during this time. Surround them with Your peace, and remind them of Your goodness. Help them to trust in You and to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them. We pray that this situation would draw them closer to You and that they would find comfort in Your Word.
Lastly, Lord, we pray for the school and the students who witnessed the injury. Help them to process what they have seen and to support one another. Give the teachers and staff wisdom as they guide the students through this time. We pray that this situation would bring the school community together and that Your light would shine through it.
Lord, we come to you as children asking our Father for what is needed to sustain us. We request this for the glory of Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying for this child and their family, trusting that God is at work in their lives. Remember the words of Romans 8:28, WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God can bring good out of this difficult situation.
