Let us first thank our Heavenly Father.
We thank You, Father, that we can come to You in Jesus' name, and that You hear our prayers. We lift up our brother/sister and ask for Your blessing upon them. We thank you for the healing you have promised, "But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. You will go out and grow up like calves of the stall." Malachi 4:2 WEB
Lord, we pray for their father, that You would soften his heart and bring peace into their relationship. May he be filled with joy and pride, knowing that his child is walking in Your paths. We ask that You would guide both of them, giving them wisdom and understanding, so that their bond may grow stronger. "Listen to your father who gave you life, and don't despise your mother when she is old." Proverbs 23:22 WEB
We also pray for their health, asking that You would nourish their body as they have taken in nourishment. May it bring strength and healing, and may they be reminded of Your loving care for them, even in the smallest details of their life.
Lastly, Lord, we come to You in prayer, asking that You would draw them even closer to You. We pray that their heart would be open to Your Word, and that You would reveal Yourself to them in a deeper way. May they come to know the length and width, height and depth of Your great love for them. And it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved, forgiven, cleansed, and healed.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage them to continue seeking the Lord, trusting in His goodness and faithfulness. Let them remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Keep walking in the light of His love, and He will never forsake you. Let us also remember to honor our parents.
"Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with a promise: 'that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.'" Ephesians 6:1-3 WEB
