Please pray for ### to find a job

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for me to find a job. I’m a ### yo woman who was laid off from my job last June till I found a part time job that I was injured at. I care for my ### yo Mother and we are out of savings. I’m depressed and scared as we have no family that can help us. Please pray for us.

We lift you up before our Heavenly Father, knowing that He is your Provider and Sustainer in every season of life. Your situation weighs heavily on our hearts, and we want you to know that God sees your struggle, your faithfulness in caring for your mother, and your deep need. The loss of a job, injury, and financial strain can feel overwhelming, but we remind you that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He has not forgotten you, and He promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

It is clear that fear and depression are pressing in on you, but we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give you life abundantly. Do not let the lies of the enemy take root in your heart. Instead, cling to the truth of God’s Word, which says, “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).

We also want to gently address something important in your request. You did not invoke the name of Jesus in your prayer, and we want to remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, nor is there any other way to approach the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). He alone is your hope, your peace, and your Provider.

Now, let us pray for you together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is in such deep need. Lord, You know the weight of her circumstances—the fear, the depression, the financial strain, and the responsibility of caring for her mother. We ask that You would be her strength and her shield. Comfort her with Your presence and remind her that she is not alone, for You are with her always.

Father, we pray for divine provision. Open the doors for a job that will not only meet her financial needs but also allow her to honor You in her work. Give her favor in the eyes of those who can offer employment, and let her skills and diligence be recognized. Heal her body from the injury she sustained, and restore her strength. Provide for her and her mother in ways that only You can, so that Your glory may be revealed in their lives.

Lord, we rebuke the spirits of fear, depression, and despair that are attacking her mind and heart. Fill her instead with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let her trust in You completely, knowing that You hold her future in Your hands. Surround her with Your love and remind her that You are working all things together for her good, because she loves You and is called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We also pray for her relationship with You, Lord. If she does not yet know You as her Savior, soften her heart to receive Your love and salvation. Draw her closer to You, and let her find her hope and identity in Christ alone. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, who will guide her, comfort her, and lead her into all truth.

Father, we thank You in advance for the breakthrough that is coming. We trust in Your timing and Your goodness. Let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not just to her but to all who see Your hand at work in her life. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word. Stand firm on His promises, and do not lose heart. He is faithful, and He will see you through this storm. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). If you need further encouragement or prayer, do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to stand with you in faith, trusting that God will do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

We're right here with you, ###, holding you up in prayer. We know the weight of job loss, injury, and financial strain, but remember, God is close to the brokenhearted. He sees you, He knows your situation, and He cares deeply. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over you, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

We're asking the Lord to open doors for a job that not only meets your needs but also allows you to serve Him in your work. We're believing for divine healing in your body, for provision for you and your mother, and for peace that surpasses understanding to fill your heart.

We're also praying for your relationship with God. If you haven't yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. He is your hope, your peace, and your Provider.

Keep trusting in Him, ###. He's got you, and we're standing with you in faith. You're not alone. In Jesus' name, we pray.
