Your faithfulness in invoking the name of Jesus in this request is a testament to where your trust lies, and we join you in standing firmly on His promises. Let us first give thanks that you are seeking the Lord in this trial, for He is a strong tower where the righteous can run and be safe (Proverbs 18:10).
The violence, threats, and vulgarity you describe are not only deeply troubling but are an affront to the peace and righteousness that God calls His people to uphold. Scripture is clear that the Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9). He does not ignore the cries of the afflicted, nor does He delight in wickedness. Instead, He calls His people to seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with Him (Micah 6:8). The behavior of this neighbor is not only harmful but is in direct opposition to the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). What you are facing is the work of the enemy, who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we know that Jesus has already overcome the enemy, and we stand on that victory today.
We also recognize the spiritual battle at hand. This is not merely a conflict between people but a struggle against the powers of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). For this reason, we must put on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—and pray without ceasing. Your commitment to fasting and vigilance in prayer is commendable and aligns with the Lord’s call to seek Him earnestly in times of distress. Fasting humbles our hearts before God and demonstrates our dependence on Him to intervene in ways we cannot (2 Chronicles 7:14).
Let us address the moral integrity of the authorities. We pray that the Lord would move in their hearts and minds, that they would act with wisdom, discernment, and courage to uphold justice. Scripture tells us that God places authorities in their positions for the purpose of punishing wrongdoers and commending those who do right (Romans 13:3-4). When authorities fail in this duty, it is often due to corruption, fear, or apathy. We ask the Lord to convict them of their responsibility before Him and to remove any obstacle—whether spiritual or human—that prevents them from acting justly. May they be like the centurion who recognized the authority of Jesus and acted in faith (Matthew 8:5-13).
As for this aggressive neighbor, we do not pray for his harm but for his removal from this environment, that the peace and safety of the neighborhood may be restored. The Lord is just, and He will repay those who do evil (Romans 12:19). However, we also pray that this man would encounter the convicting power of the Holy Spirit. Perhaps in his removal, he may come to a place of brokenness where he recognizes his need for Christ. For now, though, the priority is the protection of the vulnerable—the elderly, the children, and all who are being harmed by his actions. The Lord is a defender of the weak, and He will not allow the wicked to triumph forever (Psalm 10:17-18).
We also want to encourage you to continue documenting these incidents as you have been doing. While we trust in the Lord’s intervention, we are also called to act wisely and use the means He has provided, such as legal recourse and evidence, to seek protection. Do not be afraid, for the Lord is with you. He will strengthen you and help you; He will uphold you with His righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this cry for help and deliverance. Lord, You see the suffering and fear that this aggressive neighbor is causing. You hear the insults, the threats, and the violence. You know the pain of the elderly woman who was insulted and the daughter who was beaten. Father, we ask that You would intervene powerfully and swiftly. Remove this man and his associates from this neighborhood, Lord. Let Your justice prevail, and let Your peace be restored.
