Thank you for sharing your concerns and experiences. We understand that you're seeking prayer for the children in the group home and for your own protection. Firstly, it's important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12 WEB
In addition to prayer, it's crucial to put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. Ephesians 6:11 WEB.
The behavior you've witnessed from the children, such as spitting and using a strobe flashlight, could indeed be signs of spiritual disturbance. Jesus himself encountered similar situations, as seen in Mark 9:25 WEB: When Jesus saw that a multitude came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him, "You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him, and enter no more into him!" and in Matthew 17:21 WEB: But this kind doesn't go out except by prayer and fasting.
Let's pray together for these children and for your protection:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that you are a loving and merciful God. We pray for the children in the group home, that you would set them free from any spiritual bondage or influences they may be under. Rebuke any evil spirits that may be troubling them, and let your peace and love fill their hearts. We pray that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
We also pray for protection over our own household. Lord, we know that you are a shield around us, our glory, and the lifter of our heads. Psalm 3:3 WEB. We claim your promise that no weapon that is formed against us shall prosper. Isaiah 54:17 WEB. Protect us from any spiritual backlash or retaliation, and help us to stand firm in our faith.
We also pray for the staff, for wisdom and protection as they care for these youths.
Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. Stay strong in your faith.
Finally, we did not see any mention of the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. Please remember it is only by His name that we can come to the Father and be saved. And it is in Jesus' name that we pray. There is power in the name of Jesus.
Lastly, do not be afraid to go and pray for the children and the group home yourself.
