If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

here is what I received in an update.

"Carlena was able to swallow some water with only
mild choking. She swallowed some thickened apple juice as well. Then
about 4:00, her therapist came to take Carlena for a walk. She has done
3 walks so far, each about 7 feet, from her bed to the front of her
room, then back to her bed. Today, she got adventurous and walked a
total of over 200 feet! She said her legs hurt, but her head only rated
a 0 or 1 (out of 10), except for a 4 upon her initial standing up! She
held her head up all by herself (with her neck brace on) and even asked
her therapist to let go of her shoulders so she could walk ALL by her
self (using her walker)! She wants to be home by her 10th birthday next
month."
Please continue to pray for her speedy recovery, and that through this they would all grow closer to God.
