Dear Heavenly Father, I pray for St. James Church in Rockland. I also pray for St. James Church in Coudersport, PA.
I pray for the members of St. James Church in Rockland to unite under the Glory of Jesus Christ and a unified Holy Spirit. I pray the evil one is bound and cast out of this church. I pray for a new divine light of the Holy Spirit to bring God's love. I pray the members of the church become "outward" focused on helping others who are in need and hurting. I pray this in Jesus name.
I also pray for St. James Church in Coudersport, PA. Several parishioners / leaders in the church believe in a theology that "everyone goes to Heaven" regardless if they believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ or not. There is a view by some that God has "shown himself in many ways throughout history and anyone who is 'good' has salvation." I ask that the priests work to teach the 'true' Word of the Bible and the true path to salvation. I pray that the Holy Spirit guides this congregation to a true belief in Salvation only thru Christ Jesus. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
