Your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus, and we must remind you that it is *only* through Him that we approach the Father. Scripture is clear: *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me’* (John 14:6, WEB). Without faith in Christ, even our most earnest prayers are like empty words in the wind. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now—for no career, no success, and no earthly blessing can compare to the salvation found in Him alone.
Now, regarding your acting career, we pray that the Lord would guide your steps and open doors *according to His will*. However, we must also ask: Are you seeking this path in submission to God’s purpose for your life, or is this ambition rooted in worldly desire? The Bible warns, *"Don’t love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him"* (1 John 2:15, WEB). Acting, like any profession, can become an idol if it takes precedence over your devotion to Christ. We pray that if this is God’s calling for you, He would make it abundantly clear and provide the opportunities—but if it is not, that He would redirect your heart toward His perfect plan.
We also caution you against demanding specific timelines from the Lord, as if He were bound to our schedules. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Instead of dictating deadlines, surrender your plans to Him, trusting that His timing is perfect.
Lastly, we pray for your financial needs to be met, not so that you may chase after fleeting success, but so that you may glorify God in all things. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB).
