Please pray for situation with ###. As some of you know, he adamantly refused to go to Thanksgiving dinner at my cousin's. I had to call and get ride. The man has Lewy Body dementia. Part of the disease is he just gets stubborn, and he does not always know really what he is doing -- He has met my cousin twice, does not remember her and could not understand why I tried to drag him there. The thing is -- At Sunday breakfast, my mother tore in to him for this. She called him rude, She is going on and on about how when you set a place for someone at your table and go through all that trouble, the person should have a good reason not to show. I said to her, "The man has dementia." She said she did not care. ### ended up crying in my arms two nights in a row -- "Why does your mother hate me?" My feeling is there should be no pressure for holidays with ###. Is no different than if he had cancer and could not make it. I hate what she did to him, and I feel I should have told her off. Now it is Tuesday, so that is dinner night up at my mom's. Pray God guides me as to what to do if she starts in on him again (or on me for that matter). Also, there is good news -- I yesterday asked ###'s doctor if he poses any kind of danger to me. He said absolutely not. Thank you for praying.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
