Please Pray for ###'s Return

Dear All ~ Thank you so much for your prayers. My son sent me a text today! It was short, "It's going well so far", but I'll take whatever I can get. I texted him back a short while later telling him I'm happy for him and that I hope he's keeping cool in this hot weather (###, United States). He didn't text again. Maybe he will; maybe he won't. He was thinking of me and that's what's important. The power of prayer is magnificent. I'm so grateful to you all. Thank you, thank you, Thank you! ~ ###

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

Thank you all for your prayers. Shortly after receiving them, ### returned my text saying "all is going well so far". At this point, it's the best I can hope for. I tried to keep our conversation going but he stopped responding. Yesterday I let him know his "step-brother" passed away. It was sudden and tragic. He suffered with mental health issues. ### did not respond to my request that he attend the service. I'm happy that my son is doing well "so far", but it still pains me that he has so little empathy. My heart still breaks.
