Let us come together in prayer for our sister's mental health and anxiety, especially as she prepares for her upcoming church camp. We know that God cares for us and wants us to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us. Let us remember that “God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control” (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). We know this submission did not include the name of Jesus Christ. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!” Acts 4:12 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our ### who is experiencing anxiety and concern over her upcoming church camp. We know that You are the Prince of Peace, and we ask for Your comfort and guidance to surround her. Help her to fix her mind on You and to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. “May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face to shine on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. In Jesus’ name, we pray.” Numbers 6:24-26.
Lord, we ask that You calm her fears regarding clothing and packing. Give her wisdom and discernment in her preparations, and help her to focus on the joy and fellowship that await her at camp. May she be encouraged and strengthened to know that You will give her exactly what she needs.
We pray that You will guide her journey and ensure that she arrives at the camp on time and safely. Let her heart be open to the experiences and lessons You have in store for her. Surround her with godly friends and mentors who will support and encourage her throughout this time.
We ask for Your Courage and Strength to be evident in this young lady. May she be a beacon of your love.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Let us be reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul: “Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Trust in the Lord, and He will direct your paths.
May the Lord bless our ### and guide her through this time of preparation and fellowship. May she draw closer to Him and find peace in His presence.
In Jesus' name, we lift her up. Amen.
