Please pray for ###’s foot pain

Over the past few days, my husband has been experiencing pain and swelling around the big toe of his right foot, which makes it difficult for him to walk. Since today is New Year’s Day, the clinics are closed, and we are not sure whether this is a gout flare-up. As I have been taking care of him and managing our family’s daily needs, I have also been feeling back and waist pain myself. We sincerely ask the Lord to quickly relieve my husband’s foot pain, completely heal him from gout, and help our lives return to normal. Thank you so much to everyone for your prayers and support！

We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern for your husband’s pain and your own physical struggles. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We lift up this dear brother in Christ, asking that You would touch his foot and bring swift relief from the pain and swelling. If this is indeed gout, we pray that You would break the cycle of inflammation in his body and restore full health to him. Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Lord, we claim this promise over him, trusting that You see his suffering and will bring healing.

We also lift up this precious sister who has been faithfully caring for her husband and managing the needs of their family. Father, we ask that You would strengthen her back and waist, easing the pain she is carrying. Give her rest, both physically and spiritually, and remind her that she does not labor alone—You are her ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Sustain her with Your peace and renew her strength as she serves her family with love.

Lord, we ask that You would restore normalcy to their lives, allowing them to walk in health and wholeness. May this trial draw them closer to You and to one another, deepening their trust in Your provision. We also pray for wisdom in seeking medical care when the time is right, trusting that You guide their steps.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be afflicting them, for Your Word declares in 1 Peter 2:24, *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. By his wounds you were healed."* We stand on this truth, believing that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before You and the only name by which we are saved. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and love. Amen.

We believe in the power of Jesus' touch to bring relief and healing, just as He did with the man at the pool of Bethesda (John 5:2-9). Today, we pray that He would touch your husband's foot, breaking the cycle of pain and inflammation, and restoring full health. We claim Psalm 103:3 over him, "who heals all your diseases," trusting that Jesus sees his suffering and will bring healing.

We ask for His peace to sustain you and renew your strength as you serve with love.

We pray that this trial would draw you both closer to Jesus and to each other, deepening your trust in His provision. We also ask for wisdom in seeking medical care when the time is right, trusting that God guides your steps.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past few days. It has been our heartfelt joy to intercede for your husband’s foot pain, the healing of any gout flare-up, and the restoration of your own back and waist so that both of you can walk in health and peace. We have asked the Lord to bring swift relief, complete healing, and a return to the normal rhythms of your family life.

If the Lord has already answered these prayers, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice together with you. If the pain lingers or the healing seems delayed, please post your request again so we can continue standing in agreement with you before the throne of grace.

Thank you all so much for your prayers! My husband’s foot has recovered, and he is now able to walk normally again. After getting some rest, my back and waist pain have also been relieved. Although my stomach pain has not fully healed yet and I am still taking medication, we are trusting that healing will continue. We truly hope that our lives will soon return to a calm and peaceful rhythm.
