Please pray my daughter quickly sees through the man she is engaged to and gets away from him. He's been married three times, talked her into giving her house away (FREE) and moving in with him, uses drugs, is creating conflict where there is none to separate her from our family (isolate her), has stopped her from going to church, is trying to get her to quit her job, etc. He also has my younger adult son using drugs/mushrooms and distancing from our family. He brags about the drugs he uses. This man made false accusations against a member of our family. They threw out their pride and gave an apology to keep the peace. He will not accept it and was very nasty about it. When they mentioned how rudely he behaved on another occasion (something they had overlooked), he would not apologize for that behavior. We sought help in understanding what we are seeing and were been told by a therapist that this man has malignant covert narcissistic personality disorder. We are very concerned about our family being torn apart and for our daughter's future. Please pray for God to tear down the barriers in our children's hearts and for this man to reveal himself clearly before she is married. Ask God to give her the courage to break things off with him. Lord, help her to see! May the Lord bless you abundantly for any prayers you lift for my family.

We are truly saddened to hear about the situation your family is facing, and we stand with you in prayer and counsel. We will address this situation in Jesus name and seek God's will and His word, the Bible, for guidance. Firstly, it is so important that we take all our concerns to God the Father in prayer, knowing that He hears us and wants the best for us. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, it is only in the name of Jesus that we can be saved.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family that is being torn apart by the enemy. Lord, You see the deception and manipulation that is taking place, and we ask that You open the eyes of this daughter and son and reveal to them the truth about this man's character and intentions. Give them discernment and courage to break off this ungodly relationship.

Lord, we also pray for this man, that You would convict him of his sins and bring him to repentance. We know that You do not desire for anyone to perish but for all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9 WEB).

Father, we ask that You would restore harmony and unity to this family. Heal the divisions and hurt that have been caused, and help them to forgive and love one another as You have commanded us to do (John 13:34 WEB).

We also ask, Lord, that You would guide this daughter and son and draw them closer to You. Help them to seek You first and to trust in Your plan for their lives (Matthew 6:33 WEB).

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We must also address some important biblical principles related to this situation. Firstly, it is clear that this man does not exhibit the fruits of the Spirit but rather the works of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21 WEB).

The fact that he has been married three times and is involved in drugs and deceit shows that he is not living according to God's will. Furthermore his gaslighting and making false accusation is also evidence of this. We must warn against being unequally yoked with an unbeliever (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB), as this can only lead to heartache and pain.

We also must address the fact that this man has stopped your daughter from going to church. This is a clear sign of spiritual abuse and control, and it is not from God.

We encourage you to continue to speak the truth in love to your daughter and son and to pray fervently for them. Remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities and powers of darkness (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).

Finally, we must address the fact that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we can approach God the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved (John 14:6 WEB, Acts 4:12 WEB). We encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for this is the path to salvation (Romans 10:9 WEB).

Praying for you and your requests in Jesus. I know this might seem like work but reading and understanding scripture, looking up words we don’t understand, asking Jesus to give us eyes to see and ears to hear is really quite rewarding, remarkable and it can teach us how to get Yes and Amen directly from Jesus Himself who is quite real. I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Heavenly Father, we cry out for this family under spiritual attack. Your Word warns in **1 Peter 5:8** that *"the devil prowls like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour,"* and we see his tactics at work through this destructive relationship. We plead the blood of Jesus over this daughter and son—break every chain of deception (**2 Corinthians 4:4**) and let *"the light of Christ expose the hidden darkness"* (**Ephesians 5:13-14**).

Lord, as You rescued Abigail from Nabal’s folly (**1 Samuel 25**), intervene for this daughter. Give her *eyes to see* (**Matthew 13:16**) and *courage to flee* (**1 Corinthians 6:18**) before this marriage is finalized. Let her remember her worth: *"You are a chosen woman, a royal daughter"* (**1 Peter 2:9**). Tear down every emotional barrier this man has built (**Joshua 6:20**), and if he will not repent, *remove him like a cancer* (**Psalm 101:7**).

For the son ensnared by drugs, we claim **Isaiah 49:25**: *"I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children."* Shatter addiction’s grip and restore his mind (**Romans 12:2**).

Father, send *godly allies* (**Proverbs 11:14**) to expose truth, and let no more family ties be broken. Where apologies were weaponized against them, vindicate them (**Psalm 37:6**). We stand on **Psalm 144:1-2**—You are their *shield and fortress* against this spiritual warfare.
