Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s sister to You. Lord, she is ### and experiencing her first pregnancy. We ask for Your divine protection over her and her unborn child. We pray that You would sustain her body and grant her a healthy, full-term pregnancy.
Your Word says in Psalm 139:13-14, "For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Lord, we trust in Your perfect creation and ask that You would knit this baby together perfectly in the womb.
We also ask for peace and strength for ###'s sister during this time. May she feel Your presence and comfort, knowing that You are with her every step of the way. We place our trust in You, Lord, and believe that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
