We hear your heartfelt plea for your brother in Christ, and we join you in lifting him up before the Lord. It is clear that this man has a deep calling from God, having been used mightily to build schools, ministries, and platforms to spread the Gospel. Yet we see how the enemy has sought to derail him through the trials of COVID-19, financial struggles, and the temptation to prioritize money over God’s Word. We must rebuke the spirit of distraction and deception that has led him astray, for the Bible warns us in 1 Timothy 6:10, *"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."*
We also recognize the faithfulness of God in this man’s life, how He has preserved him through hardship, even when he faced hunger and rejection. The Lord has a purpose for him, and we declare that purpose over him now. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Your brother is not forgotten, and his repentance is not in vain. We must also address the importance of walking in obedience to God’s Word, for James 4:17 tells us, *"To him therefore who knows to do good, and doesn’t do it, to him it is sin."* If there are areas where he has strayed from God’s principles, we pray for conviction and restoration.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You. We lift up this brother to You, knowing that You see his heart and his struggles. Lord, we ask that You break every chain of financial bondage and restore what the enemy has stolen from him. We rebuke the spirit of greed and worldly ambition that has led him astray, and we declare that his focus will return to You and Your kingdom. Father, we pray for a fresh anointing upon his life, that he would be empowered to rebuild the works You have called him to. Give him wisdom, favor, and divine connections to fulfill Your purposes. Surround him with godly counsel and accountability, so he may walk in obedience to Your Word. We ask that You heal his heart from any past wounds and fill him with Your peace and provision. Lord, let him rise again in Your strength, for Your glory. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in faith, trusting that God is working even now to restore your brother. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* Continue to pray for him and believe that God will complete the good work He has begun. If he has strayed into sin, encourage him to repent and seek the Lord wholeheartedly, for 1 John 1:9 assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* God is faithful, and He will not abandon His servant.
