Beloved of All
My son is having problems with the kids across the street. Things were OK last summer, but this year the children have become very mean and rude to him,if he is playing with other kids next door, and they come out and join. They start turning the other kids against my son, and being very cruel. Things like, let's go hide so he can't find us etc. My son came in to tell me about what was going on, and the ne t thing I hear is the woman across the street calling me out. Like literally a showdown. I come downstairs and she is screaming at me, and saying terrible things. She said to me that there seems to be no problems when he is not around, which is the opposite of true. I kept trying to calm her down. It she was having none of it. She is a child psychologist and my son knows this. She looks at him and says, " why is it there are problems whenever you are around. Can you explain that ? How come everything is fine until you come outside.? My son said nothing, he turned red, hand his head and just wept. I am crying now out of anger, and because she has destroyed him. He was already shy. She might has well have said, no one wants you around. The world is better without you in it. He is just sitting in his room. Not talking, not watching tv. Just sitting. God, I wish I lived in a neighborhood of born again Christians, or pious people. Everyone on the street is except her. I know I should calm down, and not judge her but, I am so so upset, and I don't think what she has done to my son will ever be fixed. Please pray for him. That the Lord will let him know he is loved, he is good, he is not a person who shouldn't exist. I know children who have comitted suicide over less that having this happen in front of every one of their friends. God help him please protect him.
