Thank youWe are truly sorry to hear about the situation you find yourself in. First, we want to remind you that God's design for relationships is clear. Marriage is a sacred commitment between a man and a woman, intended to be a lifelong covenant. It is important to discern if this man is truly seeking God's will and is committed to a godly marriage.
We must also address that the man you are referring to is not your husband yet, and it is crucial to maintain purity and honor God in all your interactions. If there has been any intimacy outside of marriage, it is important to repent and seek God's forgiveness. As it is written in Ephesians 5:3 WEB: "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints".
It is also important to note that your prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who finds herself in a difficult situation. We pray that You will guide her steps and give her wisdom. If this man is truly seeking You and Your will, we pray that You would soften his heart and draw him back to her. But if he is not, we pray that You would give her the strength to let go and trust in Your perfect plan for her life.
We pray that You would heal any brokenness and restore her faith in You. Help her to remain pure and honor You in all her relationships. We ask that You would prepare the man that you have set aside for her and that You will be working in his life to help him become the godly man and husband You have called him to be.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged by the words in Psalm 34:4-5 WEB: "I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame." Trust in God, and He will guide your path.
