PLEASE PRAY FOR MY MARRIAGE, BEEN MARRIED FOR 3 YEARS NOW AND WIFE CONTINUE TO DRINK, EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT WHEN SHE GET HOME FROM WORK, SHE GOES TO COURT ORDERED CLASSES FOR ABUSE AND FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ON ME, SHE THEN COMES HOME AFTER CLASS AROUND 10.00 P.M. ALREADY BUZZED FROM DRINKING ONCE AGAIN, EVERY WEEK ITS THE SAME THING, SHE STARTS YELLING, SHE STARTS ACCUSING ME OF HAVING AFFAIRS, SHE STARTS CUSSING ME OUT, AM 60 YEARS OLD AND LAID OFF ALREADY 5 MONTHS, I PAY ALL OF THE HOUSEHOLD BILLS, WHEN SHE GETS PAID HER MONEY GOES ON HER TWO BOYS AGES 29 AND 30 WHO ARE LIVING WITH OTHER PEOPLE, SHE REFUSES TO LET THEM GROW UP, THEY BOTH DON'T WORK, ONE IS GAY AND THE OTHER HAS SO MUCH HATE, THEY USED TO BOTH STAY HERE ALONG WITH MY OLDEST DAUGHTER, BUT THEY ALL DRANK EXCEPT MY DAUGHTER, HER OLDEST SON HIT MY DAUGHTER IN THE FACE CAUSING ME TO THROW THEM ALL OUT, MY DAUGHTER ENDED UP MOVING OUT, NOW MY WIFE RESENTS ME SO MUCH FOR THROWING HER ADULT BOYS OUT OF OUR HOME. TRIED COUNSELING BUT MY WIFE ENDED UP WALKING OUT AND TOLD ME OUR MARRIAGE WAS ALREADY OVER. AGAIN KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS FOR MY MARRIAGE AND FOR THE LORD TO BLESS ME WITH A JOB

Father I pray for the healing of this marriage. I pray that you would deliver his wife from the spirit of alcoholism. I pray that she would realize how destructive and painful. Her behavior is to those that love her. I pray that she would support her husband physically and emotionally. I pray that she would no longer feel the need to financially support her grown children. Father I pray that you would deliver her from anger and rage that is connected to her alcohol problem. I pray that you would open doors of favor for her husband, that he might locate new employment. In Jesus name I pray, Amen

Oh, my heart and prayers go out to you. You are a strong man, and have endured much in the past 3 years. I pray for her deliverence, I pray for your strength and I pray the Lords will be done in your life and marriage. Give her to the Lord day in and day out. PRayer changes things. I pray the Holy Spirit will guide you in what is holy and is right. IF their is abuse, you must protect your self....and this may mean seperation for a time so that you can continue to pray for her while protecting yourself and adult children God does not want us to be abused.

On that note, not sure if you are a reader but Praying Through the Deeper Issues of Marriage: Protecting Your Relationship So It Will Last a Lifetime may help give biblical counsel and direction for your prayers. She has unique way of praying scripture over others.. So many times, I could not find the words to say and it was if God placed them on the pages for me. She also reminds us that we must pray for ourselves, and that we cannot changes others...we can only lift them up in prayer and leave them in God's arms

You are amazing. A faithful husband who loves the lord and loves his wife. May God's strentgth and comfort be with you. He nevers allows us to weather a storm alone. GOD IS WITH YOU!!!!!! Lean on him!
