Please Pray For My Husbands Uncle

Happy New year dear friends. I am asking for a special prayer for my husbands Uncle jerry Wicklund. Jerry was diagnosed with lung cancer many months ago, and began radiation therapy, which only worsened his quality of life. After stopping treatment he began to feel much better and gain weight back as well. Just before Christmas he went to the hospital for stomach pain. Test showed he has a cancerous tumor in in lower intestine, that they can do nothing for. He is now living with my husbands dad and his wife, and hospice is coming in - they say he doesn't have much time. It could be a few days to just a couple of weeks. I think he is fine with this situation. Please pray that the morphine eases his pain, and that they are able to make him comfortable. We love Jerry so much. He was one of the main people who helped to raise my husband. This is such a sad time in our lives. Thank you all, and may God bless you in 2010.

Dear Lord bless Jerry with your love and presence in his life. Dear Lord if it is your will for him to join you in heaven we beg you to make his passing comfortable and painless. Forgive him Lord for all his sins and allow him to meet you face to face in heaven. Dear Lord give this family strength and comfort during these hard times. Bless them greatly Dear Lord. Thank you Jesus in you we trust.
