We are truly saddened to hear about your father's diagnosis of multiple myeloma. We will stand with you in prayer and believe for his healing.
Firstly, let's remember that God is the ultimate healer. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB), "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We can trust in God's power to heal and restore.
However, we want to address something important. We noticed that you mentioned your father took the vaccine a few years ago, and now he is diagnosis with multiple myeloma. We want to caution against attributing your father's diagnosis to the vaccine or anything else. It is not for us to assign blame or find reasons for illnesses. The Bible says in John 9:1-3, As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “Neither did this man sin, nor his parents; but, that the works of God might be revealed in him". Please note, Jesus did not say the man or his parents did not sin, the blindness was not a result of that sin. Conditions are not always the result of sin or a specific action but can be used as a means for God to reveal Himself in our lives. Let's focus on praying for your father's healing and trusting in God's goodness.
We also want to remind you that God wants us to come to Him in Jesus' name. It is by faith in the name of Jesus that we receive the gift of salvation and grace. Jesus said in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." So, when we pray, we pray in the name of Jesus, as He is the mediator between God and man.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our father who has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma. We stand in agreement, believing for his complete healing and restoration. We pray that Your healing power would flow through his body, that every cancerous cell would be eradicated, and that he would be made whole. We trust in Your goodness and Your power to heal.
We also pray for his spiritual well-being, that he would draw closer to You during this time. If he does not already know You, we pray that he would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We pray for his family, that they would be filled with Your peace and strength during this time.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing and grace to overflow. We claim victory over this disease in Jesus Name. Amen.
