We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to Him in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, we know that You see all things and that You are a God of justice, mercy, and restoration. We ask that You would move powerfully in this circumstance, softening the hearts of the owners and opening their eyes to the truth of what has transpired. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 21:1, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." Lord, we ask that You would turn the hearts of these owners toward righteousness and repentance, that they may see the error of their ways and make amends.
We also pray for strength, peace, and provision for this dear sister who has been wrongfully dismissed. Father, You are the God who provides for all our needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You would meet every financial and emotional need she has during this time. Surround her with Your love and remind her that her worth is not defined by her employment but by the fact that she is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14). Give her the courage to trust in You, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we also lift up the employees and those who miss her leadership and presence. We pray that their voices would be heard and that their loyalty and love for her would be a testimony to the owners. May their words carry weight and conviction, leading to a change of heart.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of injustice, pride, or hardness of heart that may be at work in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the promise that You will vindicate the righteous (Psalm 37:6). We ask that You would bring restoration, not only to this job but to any relationships that have been broken. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified in this situation.
We pray all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, the One who is our Advocate, our Provider, and our Redeemer. Amen.
In the meantime, we encourage this sister to seek wise counsel and to trust in the Lord’s timing. It may be helpful to reflect on Psalm 37:5-7, which says, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun. Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him." Let us also remember that our ultimate security is found in Christ, not in our earthly employment. If there is an opportunity to pursue other work or to use this time for rest and reflection, we encourage her to do so while keeping her eyes fixed on Jesus.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
