We are truly sorry to hear about your friend's ailments. We will lift him up in prayer, seeking God's healing and comfort.
First, let us share a reminder from God's word:
*Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. (James 5:13-15)*
*Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. (James 5:16)*
Let us pray together:
**Heavenly Father,**
**We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our friend who is suffering from ailments. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and there is no sickness or disease that can stand before Your healing power.**
**We ask that You touch our friend, heal his body, and restore his strength. We pray that Your healing hand would bring comfort and relief from any pain or discomfort. Give him and those caring for him wisdom and guidance in pursuing the right treatments and therapies.**
**Lord, we also pray for his spiritual well-being. If there are any sins that need to be confessed, give him the courage to do so, and grant him the forgiveness and peace that only You can provide. Surround him with Your love and presence, and help him to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness.**
**We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we have access and healing and forgiveness and salvation. Father, if our friend does not yet know Jesus, we pray that this will be a time for him to know your love and be saved. There is no other name by which we can be saved. (Acts 4:12)**
**We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.**
Be encouraged, for God hears our prayers.
*We know that God doesn't listen to the wicked, but if anyone is God-fearing and does his will, he listens to him. (John 9:31)*
*The prayer of the upright is his delight. (Proverbs 15:8)*
