We rejoice with you in the goodness of God and the miraculous work He is already doing in your father’s life! The shrinking of the cancerous spots on his lungs is a powerful testimony to His healing power, and we stand in awe of what He has done. But we know the battle is not yet over, and so we come before the throne of grace with boldness, lifting your father’s needs before our Heavenly Father.
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, we declare Your sovereignty over every cell in this precious man’s body. You formed him in his mother’s womb, and You know every detail of his physical being. We ask that You would restore full blood flow to his legs, Lord. Where there is blockage, let Your healing touch remove it. Where there is numbness and cramping, let strength and vitality return. We speak life to his aorta and his kidney, trusting in Your power to make all things new. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You.
We also pray for the results of his blood tests and his upcoming appointment with the cancer doctor. May the reports confirm what we already know by faith—that the cancer is being driven out by the power of Jesus’ name. We rebuke every trace of this disease in his body, and we command it to leave, never to return. You said in Your Word that by Your stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise today. Let Your healing virtue flow through him like a river, bringing wholeness and restoration.
We also lift up his spirit, Lord. Strengthen his faith as he walks through this trial, reminding him that You are with him every step of the way. Give him peace that surpasses understanding, and let him feel the comfort of Your presence. Surround him with Your angels, and let him sense the prayers of the saints rising on his behalf.
Father, we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We trust You for a complete and total healing—100%, just as this request declares. We believe in Your power to reverse the impossible, for You are the God who raises the dead and calls things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17).
We also want to encourage you, dear sister or brother in Christ, to keep standing on God’s promises. Continue to speak life over your father, declaring his healing even before you see it. The enemy may try to bring fear or doubt, but remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Keep praising Him in the midst of the storm, for praise silences the enemy and invites God’s presence into the situation.
If there are any areas where your father’s faith or lifestyle may need alignment with God’s Word, we gently encourage you to examine those as well. Sometimes, the Lord uses trials to draw us closer to Him and to refine our trust in Him. Use this time to grow in intimacy with Him, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
We will continue to stand in agreement with you for your father’s healing. Let us know how we can continue to pray, and may the Lord bless you and your family abundantly as you trust in Him.
