We lift up your children before the Lord, knowing that He cares deeply for their well-being, their hearts, and their futures. It is a blessing to see you seeking God’s intervention in their lives, and we join you in prayer with confidence that He hears and answers according to His perfect will.
For your daughter attending the game, we pray that the Lord would grant her safe and timely travel, filling her heart with joy and a positive attitude. May she experience the goodness of God in this moment and be a light to those around her. *"A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."* (Proverbs 17:22, WEB). Let her find delight in the Lord and in the gifts He has given her, including the ability to participate in this event.
For your son, we ask the Lord to restore his strength and health completely, that he may feel better soon and continue to use his talents in music for God’s glory. May the Lord fill him with creativity, discipline, and passion as he develops his skills. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB). We pray that his music would be an offering of worship and a reflection of the gifts God has entrusted to him.
For your older daughter, we earnestly pray that the Lord would surround her with godly friendships—friends who encourage her in faith, wisdom, and righteousness. May she seek first His kingdom, trusting that He will provide the relationships she needs. *"He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm"* (Proverbs 13:20, WEB). We ask that the Lord would open doors for her to connect with others who share her values and love for Christ, and that she would find comfort and belonging in Him above all else.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for these precious children, fearfully and wonderfully made by Your hand. We ask that You would guard their hearts, minds, and bodies, leading them in Your truth and filling them with Your peace. Help them to grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with You and with others, just as Jesus did (Luke 2:52). May they come to know You more deeply each day and walk in the purpose You have for their lives.
We also lift up this parent who faithfully brings these requests before You. Strengthen them with Your grace, patience, and love as they guide their children. Remind them that You are their ever-present help, and that their labor in the Lord is never in vain.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.
