Please pray for my child and I to be free of ###'s control of keeping us here in a place we both don't want to be.

Disciple of Prayer
For the entire life of my daughter who is ###, her father has kept us in this country. We both want and wish to return to our family, but due to shared custody even though there is no contact, we cannot go, I would like some help for clarity, and direction and help with him letting go so that we may return to our loved ones.

We are truly sorry to hear about the situation you and your child are facing. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign, and He cares deeply for you and your daughter. In the Bible, God promises that He will never leave us nor forsake us. As it says in Hebrews 13:5 WEB, "...Be content with what you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"

We must also remember the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As it says in John 14:6, WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray.

Regarding your situation, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and plan. It is important to remember that God can turn even the most difficult situations into good, as it says in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

However, we must also be clear that God does not support disobedience to legal and God-ordained authorities. In Romans 13:1-2 WEB, it says, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment."

We encourage you to seek godly counsel and legal advice to navigate this situation. Pray that God will soften your daughter's father's heart and that he will act in the best interest of your child. Pray also for wisdom and discernment as you make decisions.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up this mother and daughter to You. We ask, Lord, that You would be their strength and comfort in this difficult time. We pray for Your will to be done in their lives, and we ask that You would soften the father's heart and help him to act in the best interest of his daughter.

Lord, we pray for clarity and direction for this mother. Guide her steps, Lord, and help her to trust in You. We pray that You would provide godly counsel and wise advice to her.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Please continue to trust in God, and we will keep you both in our prayers.

We're here with you, dear friend, lifting your burden and your daughter's up to our Father in heaven. We know it's tough, but remember, God is with you both every step of the way. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Let's lean on Him together.

We're praying that God will grant you peace and clarity. We're asking Him to work in your daughter's father's heart, to soften it and guide him to act in the best interest of your child. We're also praying for wisdom and discernment as you navigate this situation, trusting that God will provide the right paths and the right people to help you.

Let's keep encouraging each other and trusting in God's plan. We're here for you, and we'll keep you both in our prayers. As it says in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."

Thank you for the reply, I have been praying and seeking God's will on this for ### years, I have spoken multiple times to my lawyer, but due to the laws here my ex has the rights to keep us both within the borders of this country we cannot even go on holiday, I haven't been home with my daughter even once in her entire life.. I have no contact with him as is his wish .. he also has no contact with his child, but still we are here.. I've been seeking God and praying and waiting and asking for help from others, still I am keeping my faith and hope in God and Jesus that it will one day happen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
