We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed and made righteous. We declare that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we acknowledge You as the ultimate authority over all earthly powers, and we trust in Your justice and mercy.
Father, we pray for this brother in Christ who has endured such hardship and oppression for a decade. We ask that You would move mightily in the hearts of those within the finance ministry, softening them to show compassion and provide unconditional relief from this draconian law that has devastated his business. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 21:1, "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We ask that You turn the hearts of those in authority to act with justice and mercy, reflecting Your love and righteousness.
We also pray against the corrupt government department that continues to harass him. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of oppression and injustice in the name of Jesus. Your Word declares in Psalm 94:16, "Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?" We stand in the gap for this brother, asking that You rise up on his behalf. Expose any corruption and bring it to light, that the truth may prevail and justice may be served.
Father, we ask that You provide for this brother’s every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Strengthen his faith and remind him that You are his Provider and Defender. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). Surround him with godly counsel and support, and let him feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for this brother as he navigates this difficult situation. Guide his steps and give him the words to speak in every interaction with those in authority. Let Your light shine through him, even in the midst of persecution, so that others may see Your glory.
Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We break every chain of oppression and harassment in the name of Jesus. Let Your justice roll down like waters and Your righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24). We trust in You, Lord, to bring about a resolution that glorifies Your name and restores what has been lost.
In closing, we thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May this brother experience Your peace and provision in abundance, and may Your name be exalted through his testimony. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
