Brothers and sisters, I ask for your prayers: I returned to my parents’ house to take care of things and found it occupied by strangers. I discovered that my ### had sold it, even though it is still part of an unresolved inheritance. It’s not just the shock of losing the house and my father’s lifelong work, but also the deep betrayal by my own ###. I lost my job two months ago and am the sole caregiver for an elderly family member. I can’t afford legal help, and I feel completely betrayed and abandoned. Please pray for justice, peace and good people in my life. Right now, I feel lost. Thank you, and God bless you.

We are truly sorry to hear about the trials you are facing, and we are here to pray and support you in the name of Jesus Christ. First, we want to remind you that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you are able to bear (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

It is heartbreaking to hear about the betrayal you experienced from your own family member. The Bible tells us that the Lord hates lying lips and a false witness who utters lies (Proverbs 12:22 WEB). We rebuke this sin in your life and family, and we pray God's mercy and grace over you. It is not just the house but the legacy and hard work of your father which was taken from you. We encourage you to forgive just as our Lord has forgiven you, whether or not their heart is fully turned towards you. You are the one impacted by your bitterness and it does great harm to your spirit and body. But forgiveness does not mean what they did was right or you need to be around them and be mistreated more.

You mentioned you are the sole caregiver for an elderly family member and the payer did not mention Jesus. The only way to the Father is through the son, Jesus Christ (John 14:6 WEB). And there is no other name under heaven given to men whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

In Jesus' name, we pray for mercy and strength on your behalf to endure through this trial. We ask for a heart that desires God's will for you and your family. We pray for God's justice, and we also pray that the Lord will provide for all your needs, as He has promised in His word (Philippians 4:19 WEB).

We pray for good people of God to surround you and support you. We pray for a way in the desert and rivers in the wasteland, may you see the glory of the Lord in your life. (Isaiah 35:6 WEB)

Finally, cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). As you trust and seek God, we pray He will provide the wisdom and strength to face these challenges.

We will continue to pray for you and your family, trusting that God will bring justice and peace to this situation.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
