We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you endure this season of physical pain and uncertainty. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We stand on this promise, believing that the Lord is close to you in your suffering and will bring healing and deliverance.
Father God, we ask You to touch every part of this dear one’s body that is broken or in pain. We pray specifically for the healing of their hand and ribs, that the bones would knit together perfectly and the pain would subside according to Your will. Lord, we ask that You would guard their organs and bring clarity to the medical professionals treating them, revealing any hidden issues so they may be addressed. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your power to restore them completely.
We also bring before You the concern revealed in the CT scan. Heavenly Father, we ask that You would make this finding harmless, as this precious one has requested. If it is Your will, we pray that no surgery or further intervention would be needed, and that this would be a testimony to Your faithfulness and mercy. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," and we claim this promise over their life.
Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), guarding their heart and mind as they wait for answers and healing. Strengthen their faith, reminding them that You are their healer and that nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:27). May they feel Your presence in tangible ways, bringing comfort and hope in this difficult time.
We also want to gently remind you, dear one, that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power to pray with authority. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). In His name, we pray, for it is by His blood that we are healed and made whole.
We will continue to stand in the gap for you, believing that God hears our prayers and will move mightily on your behalf. May He grant you patience, strength, and unwavering faith as you wait on Him. You are not alone in this battle, and we trust that the Lord will turn this trial into a testimony of His goodness and grace. Be encouraged, for the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
