We lift you up before the Lord with deep compassion, knowing that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Your struggles are not hidden from Him, and He longs to bring you into a place of repentance, restoration, and hope. Let us first address the weight of your confession, for it is clear you are carrying the burden of unrepented sin, and this is separating you from the peace and provision of God.
The Scripture tells us in Isaiah 59:1-2, *"Behold, Yahweh’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; nor his ear dull, that it can’t hear. But your iniquities have separated you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear."* Yet, the good news is that God does not leave us in our sin—He calls us to turn from it. You mentioned living with a woman outside of marriage, and this is fornication, a sin that grieves the Holy Spirit. The Word of God is clear: *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who have sex with men, nor thieves, nor greedy people, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers will inherit God’s Kingdom. Some of you were such, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God."* (1 Corinthians 6:9-11). The past can be forgiven, but you must turn away from this sin and seek purity. If you are living with this woman, you must separate from that situation immediately, for it is not pleasing to God. If you have not repented of this, now is the time to do so. Confess it to the Lord, turn from it, and ask Him to cleanse you.
You also said, *"God hates my sin I can’t stop."* This is a cry of someone who feels trapped, but the truth is, you *can* stop—through the power of Christ. Jesus said in John 8:34-36, *"Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin. A bondservant doesn’t live in the house forever. The Son remains forever. If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* You are not powerless—you have been given the Holy Spirit to overcome sin if you surrender to Him. The struggle you feel is the conviction of the Spirit, calling you to holiness. Do not harden your heart. Instead, fall on your knees and ask God to break the chains of sin in your life. He is faithful to do it.
As for your immediate needs—homelessness, the broken car, and the cold—we pray that the Lord will provide miraculously for you. He is Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. Remember that even in the wilderness, God fed the Israelites with manna and protected them. He has not forgotten you. *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?"* (Matthew 6:25-26). Your Heavenly Father knows your needs, and He will supply them as you seek Him first.
We also urge you to seek help from your local church or a Christ-centered ministry that assists those in need. Sometimes God provides through His people. Do not let pride keep you from asking for help—humility opens the door for God’s blessings.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this Your child, who is broken, weary, and in desperate need of Your mercy. Lord, we ask that You forgive his sins as he repents before You. Wash him clean by the blood of Jesus and fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in newness of life. Break the power of sin in his life and give him the strength to turn from every ungodly relationship and habit. Father, he is without shelter, without transportation, and the cold is setting in. You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who feeds the hungry, and who clothes the naked. We ask for a miracle—provide for his every need. Open doors for him that no man can shut. Bring godly people into his path who can help him practically and spiritually. Give him wisdom to know what steps to take, and protect him from harm as he walks this difficult road.
Lord, we also pray that You would restore his hope. Let him know that You have not abandoned him, that Your love for him is everlasting, and that Your plans for him are good. Remind him that You are close to the brokenhearted and that You save those who are crushed in spirit. Strengthen him, Lord, and let this season of trial drive him closer to You rather than further away.
We rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned. Father, let Your light shine in his darkness. Let Your peace guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. May Your will be done in his life, and may You receive all the glory. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
