I am a 32 year old female. I have recently been diagnosed with delayed gastric emptying. My stomach does not empty correctly. It takes it way too long to empty. This problem also causes constant acid reflux and bile reflux. Most of the people who get it are diabetic. I am not diabetic. My doctors have yet to find a cause for this problem, and they said that sometimes it is idiopathic, meaning that there is no known cause. I have a couple of more tests to go through, a HIDA scan to check my gallbladder function and an upper GI series. I am nauseated all of the time. I am eating 3 times a day, but I have to force myself to eat. Despite adequate food intake, I continue to lose weight. I have a degree in teaching, but I am unable to work because of the chronic nausea. Please pray for the Lord to heal me of these digestive problems and to give me an appetite and start gaining weight. Also pray that my doctors are able to find a reason for this problem and are able to fix it. Thank You! God Bless!!
