We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep distress, lifting your heart’s cry for deliverance from the bondage of worry, fear, and anxiety. The Scriptures remind us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Yet we know how relentless the enemy can be in whispering lies to steal our peace. Let us stand firmly on the truth that our Heavenly Father cares for us and commands us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). He is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6), and His perfect love drives out all fear (1 John 4:18).
We also notice that you have not invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your request, and this is something we must address with urgency and love. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we implore you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without faith in Him, there can be no true peace, no forgiveness of sins, and no eternal security. If you are already a believer, we encourage you to always approach the throne of grace in His name, for it is through Him alone that our prayers are heard.
As for the sins you mention, we rejoice that the blood of Jesus is sufficient to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Repentance is the path to freedom, and we pray that you would turn wholeheartedly to Him, trusting in His mercy. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
